Track Spark over-delivering so far

I have to admit that when I first signed up for Track Spark I didn't really expect too much. A couple of beat libraries and some funky effects plugs perhaps.
But I have to say that the goodie bags we've been getting so far are quite impressive. And none more than this month's bag which includes Pettinhouse's fantastic Acoustic Guitar 2.0. I have most of Pettinhouse's other products and put off getting this only because I already had a couple of other similar plugs. But I couldn't stop playing this thing last night. Very nicely rendered pick, fingered and strummed acoustic guitar. The fingered instrument is a very rich and playable tone with a couple of nice key switches--not a lot, but just enough to make it easily playable and not too complicated.
The strummer was a very nice surprise. An easy interface that actually makes creating new convincing strumming patterns very easy. Other strummers are much more difficult to create new patterns with.
The upgrade price for me from the Pettinhouse site would have been $69, making the $2 and change monthly fee for Track Spark look completely insignificant. Brilliant.
Cheers

Yeah, it is well worth to gamble a couple of bucks each month for a nice surprise
I'm quite impressed with the Pettinhouse lib, sounds really good, and easy interface to get to grips with But I guess those users who do not own full version of Kontakt 5 will feel somehow left out.

Haven't been disappointed yet. This months "Strummer" is definitely the highlight for me. Though, the only thing that never seems to get used from the subscriptions are the samples. Usually just extract everything else into the Trak Spark folder and leave the samples behind.

Really? I like the beat samples. Can never get enough of those. My only problem is that I wish they were in REX format. Converting the BPMs can be a bit of a pain.Ridan wrote:Haven't been disappointed yet. This months "Strummer" is definitely the highlight for me. ...FreaQ by Audio Assault
But released just two years ago it has already been discontinued (maybe in order to become "magware" instead? )

It's not really discontinued for it is still part of some of their bundles http://www.audio-assault.com/bundles/Numanoid wrote:...FreaQ by Audio Assault

Not available as a separate product anymore, though

OK, good to know
So that is a $50 value (for pro use)
The other goodies included:
Glitchee #1 (€16): https://audiomodern.com/shop/instruments/glitchee/
Amotspheric Pads (sample pack) ($5): http://ghosthack.bandcamp.com/album/atm ... ample-pack
I really like Glitchee, I got #3 from before, simple but with enough controls to please

I like Glitchee too. My favorite from this months subscription. Will likely just take the wav files and throw them in BreakTweaker though.

Hi Everyone, my subscription providers system didn't upload the details and therefore the email you'll receive list last month's contents. This month's pack actually contains: Overdrive 5 by Stagecraft Software, InspireMe vol. 1, 2 & 3 by Bjulin Waves, acoustic guitar, dohl & tabla loops and a tutorial on how to make your vocals sound interesting by Rich Lewis.
Sorry guys,
Tim

The goody bags have been good. Unfortunately, despite being a member since February, I've maybe downloaded two of them. I keep forgetting. I was sure that at the beginning they said the contents would be available as long as you're a member. Anyway, I'll have to get onto it.
