Hi everyone,
I want to introduce my new Pipe Organ sample library for Kontakt.
INTRODUCTION
The Pipe Organ is the king of instruments. It has a strong fascinating sound, and just as hard to realize in digital format. I worked with Divergent Audio Group combining our forces to bring in Your studio not only this magnificent Italian masterpiece, but also all nuances of the Italian cathedral, offering a huge sound together with a great animated 3D user interface.

Anyone buy this yet who can comment? It sound pretty nice for the price of around $60 USD. There really are not too many great-sounding pipe organ libraries available...which makes it extra tempting.

I took a chance and bought it today because I didn't want to miss out on the sale price. For the $62 USD I paid it was an absolute steal IMO. Easily the best pipe organ library I've ever had. Much better than the Sonokinetics, Aria, and Project Sam offerings.........again IMO. Fantastic job Hephaestus Sounds! I'm very happy with the purchase and can now make my JSB Toccata dreams come true.

The demos are amazing....
I don't have an immediate use for this, but find I'm trying to convince myself that I do (GAS).
Any idea how long the intro pricing will last?

Any chance of sfz format? I have no desire to give NI a single dime.

I'm looking for a pipe organ library and decided Hauptwerk is just overkill for my application, so I'm trying to stay in Kontakt.
I have the old PMI Baroque Organ, but am looking if there's something better for me.
I'm looking at this library and Inspired Acoustics' Notre Dame de Budapest. I like the sound of NDB, but the fact that it's a (probably GUI-less) Kontakt 2 instrument kinda puts me off.
Anyone have experience with both of these?

Pricetag vs. quality
I have a few organ sounds in my keybord. None of them are close to a real organ. It was just luck, to discover the ICO for Kontakt. I was first puzzled about the three company names, but it is just a splitting of responsibilities. Buying the software is quick and easy. Installing it too. To bad, there is no Library, just files. However if you get use to it, there is no problem. The GUI is nice and the distributon of the controls are well done. The first impression is "wow". As everybody would do, I played around. Discovering a program without the help of a manual is always a sign of a good developement. But soon or later, you have to read the manual, because there are so many features installed.
It took me a whole day to experiment. And it was worth it.
Good (realistic) sound, many variations available and easy to work with the program.
For a pricetag of about 100$ you cant go wrong, because the quality (sound) is amazing and there is no competition on the market.
I would like to see a few thinks to be changed, but those are of minor nature. And last but not least, the support (also after sale) is not only fast and friendly, but had solved all my questions.
Summary: I am happy with it!

I forgot about this library. I watched the walkthrough video when it first came out but was already in the midst of too many year-end purchases. I'll definitely pick this up when I have the funds available. The sounds are spectacular. I had also looked at Hauptwerk but the pricing was prohibitive and the library options were a bit confusing and overwhelming. This seems pretty clear and simple to use with some great-sounding samples.

Hi dmbaer, dmbaer wrote:Does the final patch cover all the improvements, or does one need to successively apply the earlier patches as well?
Thanks.
yes this patch is cumulative, so it includes all the previous patches. Just apply this one and the last version will be ready to play.
