GUI's and dll's are nice too but maybe its time to join the big league ? :tu:

sorry for taking up space without recommending any plugins , just wanted to share a cool thought with you
Unfortunately, there is no market for making sound libraries for these things and even if there were, the number of libraries I would have to sell to make up for the cost of the synths would be way more than I could ever hope to sell.

So thanks, but no thanks.
Is it just about producing sound sets? Frankly, i don't think a hardware synth would be a bad recommendation. You literally own every soft synth which has ever been recommended here. Why not go for some hardware. ;) Waldorf Blofeld. Definitely affordable, and modern enough that you can even make soundsets for it.

Yes, why? Does it matter?

Yes, it is only about making soundsets for my business. The cost of these would make the required sales astronomical just to cover the costs.

Blofeld is very affordable though.

Okay, let's do the math.

Through Sweetwater, it's $500.

I sell my sets for roughly around $20 for 250 presets and $15 for 150 presets.

So let's say I spend tons of time on this and make 250 presets. At $20 each, I would have to sell 25 sets just to get my money back.

While the success rate of my business is none of anybody's business, let's just say that there is no way in hell I'm making my money back from this purchase, let alone make a profit.

Yeah, not happening in this lifetime.

Ok then. I just thought you might have a bit of money spare, and wanted to try something new perhaps.

If I had spare cash, know what I'd get?

This.

And then keep building from there. That's my dream someday, to be able to afford a monster modular system.
