Linux 64-bit is now ready too :)

A few comments:
(a) the Windows download size on the web page is more than the actual .zip file (6.2MB)
(b) My licence file had a .txt extension (can't remember why) and was not recognised, so I removed the .txt
(c) The Windows installer does not have an option NOT to install the VST3 version.

What advantages does the VST3 edition have over the VST2 edition?

Yes, it is fixed now. VC2010 Redistributable DLLs are now removed after switching to DLL using static libraries. We moved to VC2013 as well.

(b) My licence file had a .txt extension (can't remember why) and was not recognised, so I removed the .txt
This is actually a quirck with Share-it servers using a incorrect MIME type, so the downloaded .dat file is saved as .dat.txt on browsers like Safari. IIRC Chrome, IE or Firefox won't add it.

(c) The Windows installer does not have an option NOT to install the VST3 version.
It's done to simplify the installation. Some users may not know their host can load VST3 and it's the most recommended choice if you're using Windows.

More stability since the plug-ins runs in his own thread so a crash shouldn't bring to full app down as well as other minor goodies.

Thank you for the info :)

Meanwhile, for those looking for the Zone Output selector, here it is:

still no working drag and drop audio in cubase pro 8.5 :(

Post

Drag and drop from Cubase works if you drop a file from the disk (in the Local Hard Disk section of the media bay). It will not work if you try to drop internal library files (for example from VST Sounds category, which are not referenced as files on the disk but with an obscure URI).

yeah just tried that and it does work. Thank you!

There was a bug in the demo installer for Mac (not the full version) that has been fixed now.

Also a false positive is being reported when using Avast with Windows full version (not demo). It has been addressed and we're waiting for their reply to clear the file.

Reinstalled Bliss. Can anyone help me with the location to put the BlissSampleLibraryFolder please. The PDF doesn't state the location. The install doesn't prompt and I am struggling to see a preference in the plugin to set up a default location.
I have tried in
[drive]:\Users\[name]\Documents\discoDSP\Bliss
but the plugin doesnt see them.
Any help please
Thanks

Yes that's the same as mine I made an error in my op. So do the presets automatically show up in the list when pressing preset area?Or only after populated?

Post

There's no preset list other than the open file dialog, just load a program
into a free slot from the drop down menu or the edit page. Repeat as necessary.

-Cheers
