I tested this yesterday and it seems BP just makes whatever source you send to X go straight through instead of modulating the noise (whatever that means

). It does, however get affected by the envelope so may be useful as a kind of master amp envelope if you turn the noise amount all the way down.

Skin looks very nice, only problem is that it is becoming quite small on hi-res screens.

ONe thing that really annoys me in oxe fm is that the feedback parameter is post 'operator envelope '.
So when you do self feedback ( saw like waveform ) and a decaying envelope , the envelope only affects the output of the operator ., the volume lowers but the feedback amount stays the same and thus the added harmonics do not change .

In the the dx 7 and most fm emulators , the envelopes also affects the operator feedback , iow it attenuates the harmonics from the self feedback , so it would go from saw to sine .
So bassicaly with one operator/feedback you could mimic a simple lowpass filtering .

sad thhis can't be done in oxe fm ( yes it has filters..but they suck big time )

Typo found in the fm8 skin, third knob in OP X should read Amount instead of Mode.
