The 64-bit version of Mulab has been extremely solid for me so far. It does certain things in an unconventional way, but the good thing is that development is continuous and when someone discovers a bug, it is fixed within a day or so.
Major version updates (like 6.x to 7.x) are not free like with FL, but very cheap, 10 euros or dollars, if I remember correctly. 10 bucks for a year or two, that's very affordable. And unlike FL there is only one paid version, which allows for audio recording etc. So you don't feel like you got an inferior version unless you buy some $xxx pro version.

Camsr, I don't want to hijack your thread but have you discussed with IL why you're not enthusiastic about the future? If you have a registered copy of FL already then you have access to the developers themselves.
