Pro Tools Gurus: Main Bus???

The quick question: where is the master bus in Pro Tools?? Do you have to create one manually each time (or add to a template with that bus always set)? If so, how do you ensure all your newly-created channels automatically route to that main bus?

The long part: I'm trying to get up to speed with Pro Tools for a broadcast gig I'm shortlisted for. I have a practical test in a couple weeks where they'll throw me a video project and get me to mix VO, sound effects and music, which I have extensive experience in—I'm a whiz in Nuendo/Cubase—but I just have to get used to PT (I'm currently on the 30-day demo and will get the cloud plan when it's done).

Any tips/resources for a PT newbie/audio-pro that needs to get up and running quickly? :hyper:

Thanks in advance!

'Master Fader'!! Well, ha! That makes sense. Thanks, whyterabbyt. Was having trouble finding it on the Googles.

Yes, that's it,

For more fastest way using shortcut if you like :
Ctrl + Shift + N
then, Ctrl + right arrow (for stereo)
then, Ctrl + down arrow > twice

If you on Mac, use Command

If you will do a lot of same works, you can create a session file with all of your own default setting that you need, then save it as template

Cheers...

Yes, I was reading up on that, now that I know the "master fader" terminology. Thanks!
