Sooo.. topic idea for next month: how does everyone feel about going to the Theatre in honor/honour of Shakespeare's 400th birthday? This wouldn't have to be the Globe Theatre, mind you, it could be a musical theatre, a Kabuki theatre or an ancient Greek amphitheatre (to name a few kinds of theatre, all of which seem to really freak out the spellcheck in Chrome).
Any takers?

Oh, oops! Thanks for the correction! (Insert apropos Shakespeare quote about revels now being ended or something.)rp314 wrote:Just a minor point, this year marks the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.

This one has me nervous, how in the hell am I going to get $15 popcorn and $25 tickets to translate without a tube preamp?
It's going to be a debacle

This new 'boss' certainly doesn't want to make it too easy for us
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

LOL! Well, even if it was nothing but 16 covers of Waiting for Guffman's "Stool Boom" I would still be a happy guy:

I'm taking a different look at this (it's what I do).
Imagine a composer that:
Loves to include very vivid imagery with their work.
Likes to tell a story
Has some of the most memorable characters in the rock/film world.
I'm looking at the idea of rock music as a story telling/evocative form that has oft transcended the LP and etched itself in our brains through screen and stage.
That's right, I am covering "Can you feel the love tonight"... or am I

Given your location, I would have thought you might have written an additional song for Footrot Flats - the Musical.....Chickenman wrote:I'm taking a different look at this (it's what I do).

I actually moved to Aussie but I'm too lazy to update my profile.
