That was a blast. All month worked on the sounds only whenever had the time, and had to work on it literally all day to "finalize" it, or rather abandon it for the time being. Went for a bit of LoFi sound, and Tech-Noir if there's such a thing. An obvious reference to BR, and Roy Batty in particular. Can't forget that dramatic monologue.

I found myself creating a 'band-like' feel in this one, not my usual electronica-influenced stuff.

But... it's quite a strange band. A cartoon band. And they're not really playing recognisable instruments.
And, well, it's an old recording of them rehearsing, before they got any good.

you know what, someone else also joked about OTT in previous pages which got me really curious. I didn't know about it. Downloaded and tried it on this track. Oh boy, this thing is amazing. It ended up in my master chain. Now I know why people put a smiley with this plugin. It's kind of free Vintage Warmer, not in a technical way but result wise.
