hi! I have bought a behringer bcr2000 midi controller. I have one problem.. when I set knob called "type" control change and the "CH" knob to control change - the "type" knob stops working when I use the "CH" knob. If i use another knob then the "Type" starts working again.. this is very frustrating!
please help!

Read the manual... is this supposed to happen maybe?

AFAIK the TYPE and CH labels have nothing to do with the normal operation of these knobs. They're only used for configuration of the knobs.
Does this happen all the time? or only in special cases? Did you reconfigure the knobs? or connect to specific controls on screen?

I've tested it, and it works fine here.
here's what i did,
(btw. I was in 'user mode-1' , but it should make no difference)
- push & hold [edit], then move knob 1 (= encoder 1, the one labled 'type').
**the display will now show 'E1'.**
- release [edit]
- turn encoder 1 again to set its type (u can now cycle thru the 'types'; cc, nprn, etc.).
- turn encoder 2 to set the midi tx/rx channel. (1-16)
- turn encoder 3 to set the CC controller number (0-127).
- turn encoder 4 to set the Min. value (0-127)*.
- turn encoder 5 to set the Max. value (0-127)*.
- turn encoder 6 to set the Controller mode**.
- turn encoder 7 to set the Controller option**.
- turn encoder 8 to set the Display value indication (On/Off).
then i repeated this for encoder 2 (the one labled 'CH').

By controlling the voltages, we control the frequencies, by
controlling the frequencies, we can control the human mind.
.... but God knows the machines took over our brains last
night ... who is controlled and who is controlling?

whoops...
* if u set both values the same, the knob wont work. (e.g.
min = 127, max = 127, theres no value inbetween).
** see manual for details on mode & option
p.s.
don't forget to STORE the preset
