Hi Guys,

Could anybody offer any guidance on recreating the bassline from Sam Paganini's Rave? the bassline starts at 1:00.

It sounds like it should be relatively simple, however I just can't seem to get the same fat/pulsing sound. The actual sequencing may be throwing me off a bit as well, it sounds like a simple offbeat and I'm programming it as such, but there could be more to it than that.

It seems to be a track for me where I just can't pinpoint what is going on for some reason.

Thanks.

it could be just a sinewave with a slow attack :)

Not really a recreation of that bass, but here is a tutorial on those chords in The Beat by Sam Paganini:

Here I am in 2019 wondering the same. Did you find what it is?

It's a simple saw wave with a low pass filter.
If you wanna get real exact you could use a pulse and play around till the partials(sine waves of the saw so to speak) line up even closer to the original in the song but if you low pass a saw you're 90+% there
