Its sure got plenty of cowbell. ;)

Not enough progression for me, and no real tune as such. Mix sounds ok, but it needs something else imho.

ahahah thanks dude, so what its missing like a climax type deal a build up or and or drop?

that cowbell kills it imo lol its definitely got a groove, but I think I get what you mean.

I would say cut up your track into about 5 slices and think of varying those slices more from each other. Its how I'm approaching it. Also use an arp on anything from a drum sound or whatever to give you ideas for new noises. Hope I have helped : )) Keep slogging and as my wife says to me, as long as I'm happy.

yea ive messed with the idea of an arp before, but I dunno sorta got a little more into sound design with massive stopped playing with arps. So maybe I'll spend some time focusing on arps for now. I do know I need to learn how to make efficient build ups and drops. which makes the track that much more exciting, although the music I'm making isnt bass music. I think that'll be the next ventures learning how to incorporate and how to make drops in certain genres and learning more and playing around more with arps. thanks man :)

as for it not having a tune.. I feel like my track definitely has a tune going for it lol. I do get that its a little on the boring side because of lack of build ups and drops.. I definitely was looking at my track in different segments though. 8 bar segments every 8 bars I would add or drop a layer and switch them up to keep you captivated, but I guess it lacks excitement.

all advice welcome! more plz :) haha

slept on it listened to a song lol just realized what you meant by this.. you are correct sir. I'm going to keep this in mind with my next track..have a writers block thing going on I been pumping out too many ideas..learning all I can on mastering my own tracks and practicing on my two best out there so far which includes this one. so far the mastered version seems to have come much more to life. just a slight boost of the lows and mids on a multi band compressor does wonders.

It works. It`s a minimalist style techno thing.
The sounds you use in it are the important bits. I`m no techno producer so I can`t suggest anything really. I do think a single black girl saying a word or a single laugh every now and then would do wonders.

exaactly, all I listen too usually is techno/house music so makes sense what I produce is along those lines. thank you sir. I've been thinking about adding some more vox samples or just adding more of the girl I have in there.

a lot of people give you feedback based off their own personal preferences forgetting that.. its about the production itself not the genre..just wondering production wise how it sounds, whats needed. so thank you for getting that. haha

people who only listen to bass music generally always tell me it needs something more! or talk about drops or it being boring lol forgettting that this is the style of music that I am creating. I listen to and like something from all genres, so I can atleast tell if a track is half decent or garbage regardless of if its my favourite genre or not.

Okay, the vocal snippet needs eqing and needs to be more prominent. The reverse hat needs more low cut and the bass line is too repetative.
Other then that I dig it, and you need to mix up the ideas a bit more.

alright thanks dude! added in the more of the vocal snip, workin on the reverse hat again thanks champ this asctually helps a lot. I also doubled up on the kick changed the clap completely now the kick is more punchy and isnt drowned by the bass. sidechain compressed a tad more.. once I fix the rev hat I am going to master it as best I can and see what the finished product ends up like..
