Probably because he also sells Reelbus, which is a tad better.

What do you mean by 'no longer supported'?
Is it disontinued?

For the latest on Ferox, see:

However, you are correct. Jeroen seems to not update each plugin but to make the next one of that type sound better, eg Compressor> Bus Compressor> Evoke.

But for some mysterious reason, i use reelbus more on bus for glueing things.
I think slate's tape machine sounds nice, but remember, it needs a hardware ilok. Hardware ilok is very, i mean VERY annoying for me.
Thanks, trying Satin now. I think I tried it a while ago but can't remember what I thought.

ReelBus does seem to do a good job at glueing things together.

While Bus Compressor is strictly a superset of Compressor, with more sophisticated algorithms, Evoke is a very different plugin for different purposes.

From the website:"TB Evoke’s compressor section is essentially an overhauled and improved version of TB BusCompressor, which is capable of quite extreme dynamics processing without being obviously present."
This 'evolutionary' approach seems to be part of the TB strategy.

I believe 'that' bus comoressor is v2..
There is also tons of improvements on bus compressor v3.
SO... i dunno :)

Oops, i made a mistake. Not exactly v3, but you know, the great big gui with several improvement was out Dec 13, 2014, and evoke was out Nov, 3, 2014.
So, i guess the current version of bus compressor is tb's flagship.
