I've noticed a discrepancy for some Linplug plugins between which presets can be scanned and loaded via the browser and the dropdown preset menu - it's as if they use different code for how they work. So for example if I browse CRx4 patches using the browser some patches do not play back right and you can't browse Sophistry patches at all - they are not even visible even if I specifically add their folder location (note these are all fxp files). Similar for Organ 3 - they show but many do not play correctly.
However if I change bank in CrX4 itself to one of the Sophistry banks then they do show in the dropdown preset menu and play back perfectly; again same for Organ 3.

Doesn't seem to work with Virsyn synths either even though they also use fxp - just get a frozen plugin/host (spinning circles) when I try and load a patch using the browser.
And for ConcreteFX Kubik it tells me the preset doesn't match the plugin.
