Are there any changes to the database?
The problem I have is, when it scans my drive for kontakt files, it all goes through fine. When I start to load instruments, it says "Missing samples" though the folder is right under its nose. I have to point to it everytime and resolve it (and if I dont' save it its gone).
Has K5 gotten smart about it and resolved the missing links automatically when scanning database?
Has the database been improved in Kontakt 5 latest version?

I don't think there were any changes there. If you moved any of the libraries, it's best to go to Options->Database->Reset and Scan, after you add the new paths to the libraries, of course. No other way to do it really, the database depends on the paths listed in this dialog.
