If you've ever wondered what an Emulator II would sound like if it were a synth instead of a sampler, well... you probably need to get our more... but we made one anyway!
Synthulator is, basically, an EII's brain in a Roland D50's body. That is, the sounds of the Emulator, but in a Sample & Synthesis framework that allows those sounds far more flexibility than even the glorious EII could have dreamed of. As well as grafting Attack samples on to twin Sustain samples, you can morph between them, bring complex velocity-responsiveness into play for crossfading and switching, and get all kinds of interesting modulation going to keep the sounds dynamic and evolving. The whole thing behaves like an expressive, powerful synth, but every sound it makes is stamped with the Emulator II's signature grain and grit. Everything from Peter Gabriel pads to Simple Minds stabs is hiding in here somewhere
Synthulator is available now as part of our Summer Sale, but if you want to grab some of the rather cool freebies that KVR are throwing around, you can also buy it right here on KVR – yes, we're putting as many of our instruments as we can up on the KVR marketplace because, well, we love you guys
For audio demos and to read more about it, take a look here:

Or to buy right here on KVR, click here:

(And yes, there's a bit of a saving there, too )
Have a cool Summer!

Damn I'd be all over this if it was a standalone plugin, sadly I don't use Kontakt. Congrats on the release and great review though!
The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious ; it is the
fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science.

Wow, thanks for flagging that one up for us – hadn't spotted it yet! For anyone tempted by CM's kind words, Synthulator is currently 20% off (and in fact there's a store-wide Seasonal Sale going on here). Nuff saidNumanoid wrote:A home run review for Synthulator
