The SPACE XY module allows you to precisely place each voice in a True Stereo scene. And even, to make voices move with chaotic functions, if desired. Here's a tutorial about it.

Btw I massively used the Per Voice modulators in the ten demo tracks that can be found a few pages ago in this thread. So you can also hear them 'in action'.

Thanks. It will be very cool indeed. Hopefully I'll be able to give the first sound examples from the PolyKB III in a few days ( probably by next thursday, maybe before if I have the time to do so)boombaxx wrote:Whatever it turns out to be i,m sure it will be cool. I am an owner of a Native Instruments S-Series keyboard (the S-88) and downloaded the full version with the temp license only to find this synth FLAWLESSLY interfaces with my keyboard knobs and buttons!
Great work, Xils-Labs! I also have the Arturia V Collection, which is another NKS partner with NI. This is simply wonderful having such well written interfaces for these keyboards.
Thanks - it looks rather certain I will be buying this full version!
[EDIT - DONE!]

If you, and/or your friend can't access this page in the future, and therefore also can't access the 'contact us' page of the site itself to send the problem details to Xils, maybe the best is that you contact me by PM, and I'll transmit the info to them ( I'll probably need your IP adress, because maybe it has been blacklisted, otherwise I can't see what could be the problem, but I don't master all these specific internet problems so ... just a guess )

Sounds ok, but try to make next clips sound like this superb demo:Lotuzia wrote:Here are the first audios clips made with the

That'd show off the "analog-ness". Some of the presets you've got in your demo clip, are meh x million.
Whereas the above video, in from the first second till the end, you're hooked and awed.

Right Hunterkiller. I was just watching the same video.
I would add that having unique Polykobol II patches in the factory library that only PolyKB III architecture can reproduce would be the best way to promote this synth. Why was RSF Polykobol II so unknown?

Well, the guy use mostly some combis (ie different patch assigned to lower and upper keyboard). You can't do that in the PolyKB, so with naked truth separate instruments demo clips, no luck. He also change some parameters, I dont think you can automate on the polyKB II, like number of steps etc.
Then, hearing the sounds, I'm almost schocked to check/verify once again how close sounding polyKB II and the real thing, Polykobol II, are.
Lastly, the above clips only show some of the new features of the PolyKB III, so patches that can be done with version III that could not be done with version II. I sent a certain number of clips, and the guys at Xils choose the ones that in_their_opinion showed the best the new features, and only these ones. So, not the whole spectrum of what the PolyKB II, or III can do (but there are legions of audio clips for that on Xils site or in other areas). These are one instance patches, and you know it's difficult to make a demo of say a BP filter based patch alone, because obviously the listener will probably miss either the low end, or the cream for the ear parts (Whereas in a whole mix, it's of course -possibly- delightful)
Then, it's all about style/genre. Some people prefer cool and warm ambientish atmospheres like in this video. While other people prefer different styles.

The patches are rather basic. It's more the way the guy make them live thru thee track by modulating parameters in real time that is brilliant and pleasant/joyful. To achieve the same kind of results, you must assign midi Ccs to various PolyKB parameters, and modulate/record in real time. ( you can assign pretty much any parameter to midi Ccs in the PKB II/III) You should also use two PolyKB II/III instances, one with the arp or sequencer running, and the other with an analog pad patch.(each with 4 notes polyphony, to respect the note stealing)electro wrote:Right Hunterkiller. And lastly, not as a provocation, here are some sounds and most of them could not have been done of the Polykobol 2 (and that I made with the PolyKB v2.14, so even not the last versions )
