FR: distinguishing EQ graph lines

OK, here's a quick test - have a look at this and work out which line in the Input level and which is the Output:

(Before you ask - that's a modified Aluminion style.)
And how about now?
>>> http://i.imgur.com/DRuM3th.png
tl:dr: could we have some way of distinguishing between Input and Output or Left and Right levels in the EQ graphs? (This is not urgent but it would be nice to have.)
And, yes, I can listen but I like visual confirmation
---------------------------------
Add-on FRs / Questions
(a) would it be better to have those HP and LP tags at the top of the lines? Avoiding the Sonogram and much less likely to overlay any other info,
(b) when the display is Paused but playback continues, the EQ line (white) continues to move; should it be paused too?

There is something funky going on; look at what I managed to achieve (no idea how and the saved preset does not load with the same behaviour):
The green / white lines are NOT the colour specified in the Settings.

(Not sure I understand your post but)
Seems you have to DISABLE "Color" on Settings>Graphs (on the graph, not the top bar) to see that green/white lines. Otherwise it sets both lines to that color (at least on MEqualizer).

The output level is the lower one. Should you try this again after a cup of coffee?
It's always the brighter one in MEqualizer.

Nope - the two lines cross over - have a close look at the 3 cross-over points..jon wrote:DarkStar wrote:OK, here's a quick test - have a look at this and work out which line in the Input level and which is the Output:

Also, one is slightly brighter than the other but that is not very noticeable here.

Right, sorry, I see what you mean now. Yes, it's actually impossible to see which one is which, input & output visualisation works only when you either cut or boost, not when doing both.

Well, it's not that simple. It would need another color setting, and well, I'm just not open for that .
As for LP/HP tags - good point.
Pause - of course not! You'd loose the visual response. I have quite frankly absolutely no idea why you would want that

...could it be done with a "fixed" intensity/saturation setting...low for input, high for output?...the display as it is now gives no real sense of which is which...hth../s~

The problem is, there's not a single color operation that would work for all scenarios. Right now, the colors are slightly different - don't remember the code, but one is dark blue and the other is black. But then when the background gets different, the colors need to adjust... complex... I'll try to make them more different, but with some styles they just won't.
