Great! Thanks for letting know :)

This update has significantly, if not completely, eliminated CPU spikes on my main production PC. Good job, Presonus!

Not too excited about Cubase 9 either, because i think S1 definitely does some things better (and a few things worse, but those are not too relevant for me).

Same feeling here.

The Real excitement for me will be the announcement of Studio One Pro v. 4 :tu:

Hopefully not too soon, i just updated to v3... :D

I just updated, too. But I think, V4 is round the corner. I'm totally happy with S1 although some stuff could be better documented. Go go Presonus. :)

Do you notice any improvement in CPU efficiency as well compared to version 3.3.1 ?

Thanks for the feedback.

I don't notice any improved CPU usage.

No, not at all. The version 3.3.1 update decreased CPU performance on my PC, as random CPU spikes significantly increased, and caused regular crashes. I actually started using S1v2, instead of S1v3, due to the better reliability of the software on my system.

At this time, in S1v3, the CPU spike issues has been resolved with the 3.3.2 update on my PC. Excluding the CPU spikes, I cannot say that the baseline CPU performance has been improved, as that seems to be about on par with S1v2, at least for me.

That's odd because I can't see anything in the updates list that addresses cpu performance per se.

Probably because those cpu issues reside on individual users' computers. Try doing a little research on the topic to resolve many of these so called "issues".

Which are most likely underpowered Mac Minis, Windows 7 and the BIOS settings, 3rd party plug-ins or using real time processing on tracks.
