Yes I forgot about that one. I agree that is a nice sounding amp sim and it is deep. Amazing value for 9 USD.

Predator 2, no doubt. I'm able to find sooooo many sonic possibilities...

I bought Emotional Cello, Chris Hein Solo Violin, Friedlander Violin, Adagio Basses and Violas, Zero-G Luminoso and Classical Vocal, Chris Hein Winds Complete.

Out of all of them I'm most happy with the Emotional Cello and Adagio Violas. Terrific products. The sound on the Chris Hein stuff is really, strikingly great. I wasn't as wild about the Friedlander, as it seemed a bit harsh out of the box, it definitely took some mucking for me to get a decent sound, both within the gui and with outboard compression. However, the vibrato control alone is extremely interesting imo.

I avoided Adagio Violins after being repeatedly, stridently warned away but the Viole and Basses are really good, especially the former but I'd recommend each.

I had first bought the Chris Hein Compact Winds, but I liked the sound so much I wanted more articulations, so I went for the Complete version. However, the Compact is still stuffed full of terrific samples, and is for sale here on kvr for a nice low price.
Ha ha suck it!

Some expansions and midi packs from Toontrack. I'd had my eye on Nashville for EZDrummer for some time, but as a hobbyist I couldn't really defend paying the full price. Also nice to be able to get some drum and keyboard midi packs for next to nothing.

Reverberate 2. The Bricasti IRs are very nice and it's a sweet IR engine.

Upgraded to AAS Bundle. Tassman 4 is old but unique and lovely.

If you are talking about "instruments" (which is this section) I'm very happy with "Lush 101"

Why? Because it's versatile, sounds good, was a great price when on sale, and is stable. BTW, I was worried about the CPU use at first but a) FL studio can handle it and b) there is "multi cpu" switch that seems to work swimmingly.

YMMV of course, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Just make the music that you enjoy (failing that go for a walk, watch some porn, have a fight with a random bloke until something else happens).

Got it for $25 because I have most of their plugins. :)

U-He Diva for $111.

Soniccouture conservatoire collection for $10. They let me trade in Box of Tricks because I didn't like it.

Zebra 2 and Modular , 2 incredibles DIY plugins.

for me, soundtoys earlier this year for $225 after having all the little plugs. i know it's gone for a good deal less since then. I still consider it a steal.

and then getting the current eventide anthology sale by using the free ultra channel and 2016 reverb + a blackhole i had bought previously. I paid 107 for anthology and precision time align (to be eligible). that is totally insane.

Essentially 2 packages i had long dreamed about but couldn't really justify the initial costs.

So much DSP.
