1) It seems to work, I still have it in my machine, but I don't really use it anymore so I can't comment on os-related stability/bugs. Keep in mind that some plugins won't work anymore with Logic 9 (for example Waves won't work past 9 and something - I think 9.30 - otherwise you need Logix X... and you can't install multiple Waves 9 versions at the same time on the same machine).
2) There's the I/O plugin that does the job (you choose the soundcard I/O and the delay compensation and you're done). It's a very simple solution and it works.

Good to know that some plugins won't work.My LE9 with my friend now.I'm waiting to get it.Then i will install it and will see it's working with El Capitan or not.I can downgrade my mac to Mountain Lion. It's pre-installed OS.
I've found something like this to use Waves plugins with LE9 or LP9.

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here? ShawnG

No, Snow Leopard is. In your case, try Mavericks, that's good middle ground of 3rd party plugins and app's support and overall good performance of Logic 9.tunca wrote:Mountain Lion is the best for Logic 9,right?

Yeah, best to see for yourself on your own setup, Mountain Lion is last officially supported OS for Logic 9.1.8, know for a fact it's better than Lion, anything is better than Lion tho.

Good news.
It's not so different, you don't have mouse modifiers, but your tools are there clicking on "esc" button, but you can change that in preferences, if you have standard mouse by any chance, explore zooming shortcuts, especially scroll in conjunction with cmd, alt and crtl and combination of those three together, but you can look up all those key commands under preferences too.
Just press all buttons to see what they do and in combination with cmd/alt too, you will get around it pretty fast.
My sincere advice is to get some great tutorial if you get serious about using Logic, something like this:
https://www.groove3.com/logic-pro-train ... -explained (you can take month of subscription and have a look at other Logic tutorials too)
