Not because it is not useful for you means it is a waste of time.noiseboyuk wrote:zvnex - sigh, the point is you can't have a fader and the send at the same time. There's little point in making it higher, because it can't show anything useful. And all the while it hogs half the project window.
Well, most people do seem to be just disabling it once they've figured out how to do it. The reason why its upsetting is that it's ANOTHER huge waste of scant developer resources. It's their #1 selling point for C9, supposed to address the #1 item on the request list - better windows management. It doesn't fulfil that for anyone on a laptop or multi-screen.ghettosynth wrote:I really don't understand the complaining about this. It's completely optional. The old mixer is right there exactly where it was before, EXACTLY WHERE! You don't ever have to use the lower mixer but on my screen you can make it quite small and still have a row of faders. It's no smaller or larger than the similar row of faders in Ableton or Reaper.
It doesn't fulfill that for you!!!
How did you ascertain that most people are doing so?
Such sweeping generalizations......
I read that Cubase 9 was incompatible with UAD.
I investigated and found that one person had an issue which they solved by reinstalling their UAD software, but it was repeated at least ten times here and gearslutz so it became 'fact'.
I get it doesn't work for you, but you have no idea what most people are doing (unless you work for the NSA or something )
