Hi,

anyone knows how this mega thing works ? I have downloaded twice als zip and exe, says download completed but nothing on my disk, cant find a path somewhere and it is not shown in my firefox download. Any help appreciated, maybe I have to make an account first or firefox addon ? But nothing shown while I started the download.

EDIT: got it solved, I already had an account but just forgot where the download goes

It was directly on the desktop

I had already downloaded some of the plugs, was not so impressed but only had a very short look.Now I downloaded the whole pack again cause I have seen there where some midi packs too. I would recommend to just scroll threw the list, thats much easier now with the new link.
If I find something interesting I will post.

Not really apart from the midis I mentioned (some nice percussion/drum stuff). I made the effort to unpack a lot of the installation files with 7zip (worked with most) and then realized that in mulab not even one half of them worked at all. There are two different versions they develloped, one worked, the other dont (no sound at all). And no interesting sounds (for me) I must say. And some are really horribel (the lead guitar for example).

Why I need? I'm working on a concept album that's trying to combine 70's sound, rules and behaviour of playing instruments with 90's trance. For my 8th song I'm stuck and need some special sounds for keyboard solos. I just try to put together the old Bank's synth setups (earlyer years) with free VST's and LUCIfer was the only Polymoog emulation I found.

I'm nearly complete now with this "Bank's selected"... lol

Planet_N (Hohner Pianet, played through Dirtortion to get a guitar)
ProSoloVst (ARP Pro Soloist)
RMI-EP (closest I found for free to the RMI Electra 368, all in all ther's only 2 free Rocky Mount Instruments emulations aviable)
MrRay73 (closest to Fender Rhodes)
SQ8L-v0.91b (my only idea for Yamaha CP-70 and Yamaha CS-80)
VL122 (Hammond L-122, Hammond T-102 no way)
VSP-330r2_05 (closest I found to ELKA Rhapsody)

No way to get something near ARP Quadra and NED Synclavier II, but ok, I'm fine with the list for now.

Yes, and the other is full Kontakt (not Player).

Thankfully for me, the RMI-EP plugin is also identical to the sound from the old disco hit "Dreaming A Dream" by the Crown Heights Affair. I highlighted the reference in your post and found a download link on VST4Free.

There is a lot more stuff on the site, but mostly knobs and sliders and unfinished SM stuff. Maybe this sifts some of the wheat from the chaff.[End of Edit]

They were on the orginal Synthmaker forum and saved and now hosted by naint.

There are many more files that contain knobs and sliders and adds-ons for synthmaker,

Each one is identified here by the name of the zip file it is in, which is not neccesarily the name of the dll.

I also have the big file; SynthMaker_Forum_081912.zip but haven't had to chance to look at it yet to see if it contains anything additional - I suspect it will have the original actual forum pages for these downloads if nothing else.

btw, if you get links that appear not to connect or are dead, try knocking off the last part and so on.
