Unfortunately, as he mentioned here, all the compressor VSTs have been discontinued; according to my incessant mouse-clicking, the box dot com download links have also been deprecated.

[EDIT]
I'm not having any problems with the box.com downloads - perhaps it's something to do with your location? (I'm in the UK.) https://sirelliot.wordpress.com/download-section/

When you unzip it, check contents for a couple more 7z files.

Thanx Bob.

I've never tried it, but I think it's a kind of attempt to make some morphing between 4 sounds using a joystick, probably.

Why don't you simply install it in your DAW and try to use it so that you would certainly understand what it does ?

I'm sure that it's a little creation to use with a joystick.

He's done the same with TriGoom.
Should be in 'Soundware', surely?
Kevin got trashed for 'spamming' a single thread - which he didn't even start himself - which included all his plugins and updates.
This guy's starting a new thread for every patch bank he releases.
Still, only about another 60-odd to go ...

Is there a problem here with giving away 100 prsets to good plugins whats the deal.

Do it in the Soundware forum.

Numanoid wrote:Do you know Beatmaker?

http://freevstplugins.beatmaker.xyz/
Which one, Numa?
:clown:

Because Beatmaker is the name of the "company".

Made by this company I know Atmos and RVK-808 and they are currently in my "studio" for a few days to play around (I'll never use them in any composition, after having heard the result, but to play around for a few years with my grandson, why not?). I have also downloaded SL Drums but not yet tried it.

What I can say is that Atmos is funny. It is a kind of piano having several effects to totally distort the sound so that you get something totally different at the output. Some results are quite funny and of relatively good quality. I would not say more...

RVK-808, for its part, is a very conventional TR-808 "emulation". It sounds very good, yes (when you don't know yet other 808 emulations). It is of course not at all accurate to the original hardware, but very good, actually.

I haven't had the time for the moment to play around with SL Drums. And I don't know if I'll loose my time to try it. Perhaps next Sunday between 4 and 5 in the afternoon while drinking a tea...

A good point is that all his plugins are compiled in native Win 64-bit in addition to Win 32-bit, and his plugins are also provided for OSX in AU as well as in VST.

I haven't purchased his three payware products which are "808 Bass Module" (€19,99), "RomPlay" (€14,99), and "Dusty Finger" (€19,99) and I shall never buy them. For sure! Because it is obvious that the price has nothing to do with what make these three plugins. I let you imagine the total price of these three plugins when accumulated (close to €60 !) if you purchase them one by one. Hey... a "808 Bass Module" which has nothing less than EIGHT KNOBS and which is sold at the price of €20... in my opinion the developer should stop smoking the carpet.
Image

Even purchasing the bundle for only €30... it is €30 lost! Let's have a look below to understand why...

For free in Windows 32-bit (and only €9 in Windows 64-bit and also for OSX) you have the wonderful EDP Wasp emulation made by NuSofting: daHornet. The EDP Wasp had been used by several great bands and musicians (Duran Duran, Vince Clarke...) at the end of the 70s and during the first half of the 80's and sometimes used also on stage to replace bass sounds of the Minimoog. One of the three designers of the EDP Wasp made later the famous... OSCar ! And there are around 10 preset banks for this wonderful emulation (free in Win-32, €9 in Win-64 and for OSX). Whatch the video of some of the sounds of this excellent emulation:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnrmvEqHQzA

TubeOhm Alpha-Ray is free too. It is free with the effect locked, and you definitively unlock the effects for a donation of €6 which allows you to get the unlocked synth directly by email. Watch the video of this excellent and very comprehensive synth:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqLcXE8lip8

And there is a wonderful preset bank made by the famous Daniel Stawczyk himself. Watch the video of the sound bank:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5JIM43W7Fk

And Alter-Boy, a man who signs wonderful banks for many synths and who is widely known too... made also a free set of 4 preset banks for Alpha-Ray.

For around €20 (the same price as any of his three payware products) you can purchase some true beats. For example, these below and the first that I'll cite are even much cheaper than these €20 but are absolutely unique and wonderful synths:

For only $15 you have NightFlight, one of the best string synths ever made in software emulations of the famous Solina, Crumar, Logan, Rhapsody, etc.!

Listen:

https://soundcloud.com/the_interruptor/ ... d-by-jarre

https://soundcloud.com/the_interruptor/ ... minivan-to

Yes! In these demos... all is made with Nightflight!!!

For €15 you also have OB-Xtreme. Watch and listen to these 2 videos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QIO2i1d7L0

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmP5dAtkBhE

And listen to all these audio demos:

https://soundcloud.com/alyjameslab/sets ... erheim-obx

Then for only $16 you have this excellent TR-909 emulation, Pure909, which is 64-bit compatible and OSX compatible and which contains the full original drumkits from the TR-909 plus 19 additional kits which were made later by Roland for Sega and other brands. Listen:

https://soundcloud.com/monade-sounds/01 ... mo-minimal

And if you put the number 0 (zero!) in the price field you get the freeware version named Mini909... which already contains all the full original TR-909 drumkit ! (but of course not all the additional kits made by Roland later). And just this free version containing the full original TR-909 drumkit is just... the best sounding emulation I've ever heard of this drum machine!

Have you realized... after all the wonderful things we just seen and heard, we are again at only half of the price of the plugins from Beatmaker !

Now let's reach his price of $20 or €20 which is the price of only ONE of his products.

For €20 you have the splendid step-sequencer from TubeOhm, named Stepper XL (also named "To Stepper 16 PV"). It even features the famous Ratcheting effect used by Tangerine in many earlier albums. Watch and listen:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tu8ri7DCYQk

The ratcheting effect it was this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh_9vUWPHoo

The result in the step-sequencer from YubeOhm:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5J5cOf5PSx0

Listen to the effect in the album Thief for example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqEujUKoi9Q

This step-sequencer from TubeOhm is indeed much more than this! For €20 it is absolutely awesome!

Again at $20/€20 you have many wonderful instruments from Sonivox, all being 64-bit compiled as well as 32-bit, and for OSX as well as for Windows.

Examples: Harmonica, Taylor Acoustic Guitar, Classic Bass, Bright Electric Guitar, Atsia Percussion, Blue Jay Drums, Session Drums 1, Silk Road, FM Piano, Harpsichord... And there is no need to have Kontakt. Eh... Kontakt ? What's that? There is a life outside of Kontakt. :D All these instruments from Sonivox are totally independent instruments, having their own life. True VST instruments! And I LOVE them! The installation help page is here for those who use some unconventional DAWs like FL Studio, etc. All these wonderful products are for $20 each one! And they really worth it!

Let's keep on watching some other plugins at this same price of $20/€20.

Those from the French company FAIT CLIC (again?! Remember that Aly James above is French too) are very nice. And they are vintage inspirations (not pure emulations but quite close). At $20/€20! Listen to the tracks below you will not trust your ears!

First, Junior-1006, very closely inspired from the Juno-106 without being a true emulation. Currently it is even sold at only €20! But in a few days it will be back to its normal price.

Listen:

https://static.kvraudio.com/files/3099/ ... r-1006.mp3

They also have Saturn-8 which is based upon Roland Jupiter-8 & JX-8P architecture... and with additional features! And currently it is sold at only €20 instead of €30. For a few days again...

And now we end my list with three wonderful things at $30/€30 which is the price of Beatmaker's bundle:

At this price you have an incredible instrument named Abstract Textures, whose purpose is to make wonderful cinematic soundscapes. Originally it was made for Kontakt, but now it doesn't require neither Kontakt nor Kontakt player anymore, because from now on the product contains its own VST instrument. It is compiled 64-bit and 32-bit and for OSX (VST and AU).

Listen to these three tracks:

https://soundcloud.com/audiority/sets/a ... -kontakt-1

At $30/€30 you also have Vaporizer. A very complex synth which can compete with some professional products costing 5 times more. This synth is a true beast! 4 alias free VCO with 7 waveforms each one plus a tweakable noise oscillator, 4 times oversampling, up to 97 parallel oscillators per voice (the classic supersaw is far behind), up to 16 voice polyphony, 2 LFOs with cross-mod and 7 waveforms each one, 4 envelope generators and each one with envelope mode options, a comprehensive modulation matrix with 3600 possible modulation combinations, a very complex VCF section (even with an 8-pole mode on the filters, and Korg MS-20 algorithm, Roland TB-303 algorithm, and even the huge Mossberg algorithm), an 8-band parametric EQ in addition to the filters, a complex arpeggiator (12 patterns, 4 programming modes, freely assignable on fractions of whole notes), a full section of effects (a fuzz waveshaper distortion, a Roland-style multi stereo chorus with 6 oscillators, a combined room/plate reverb, a ping-pong delay)... and polyphonic aftertouch!!!

And to understand what is under the hood, the best is to have a look in the owner's manual.

Watch and listen to these two videos which not show all what can be made with that synth (they are even rather poor but you'll find pearls by watching the two videos):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSARo_mJUSQ

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkhL5nL5FBg

Beatmaker sells his small bundle of three ridiculous instruments for $30! With that price he is totally mistaken when you see the examples above which are way superior to his three little instruments.

$30 !!! For EXACTLY the same price you purchase Memorymoon or Messiah! And with their tons and tons of presets! And look at their panels!

Memorymoon (very accurate Memorymoog emulation):

Messiah (very accurate Prophet-5 emulation, much better a much closer than the emulation from Arturia):

It is obvious that the guy behind Beatmaker makes a good job, indeed, but for what is the price of his plugins, he totally dreams...
