'Desert Swarm* ('Patriots') and 'Green Hornet':
'Green Hornet' has a kind of 'buzz' to it, almost like a square or saw wave injected into the sound when the tone is rolled off. This is probably because of 2 diodes in the tone circuit.
'Desert Swarm' might have been overdone, with 4 diodes and a cap (.068uf) running parallel, with parallel resistor/cap (.047uf). So, one thing with 'Desert Storm' is that if the tone 'rheostat' is rolled completely off, it actually goes silent, like a volume. But in between 'full on' and 'full off' on the tone, it sounds promising. At some settings, there's definitely that sort of 'diode-y' thing going on.
Just playing for a minute or two, out of all of these Davisons with aftermarket P90 pickup, this red one actually seems like it 'sings'. It will have to be further investigated.

Not sure... it'll never work, though . Only guys respect talent for pay, and the other guys are always too scared off to say anything .
I can try a new guitar, but it'll be an odd, terrible slow start for others . Take a freakin long time to spit out anything but I do not feel the overall feeling of such and .....

Well LTD MH-1000 Evertune is back again. Too expensive to have a guitar refretted again so I just have to wait unpatiently for it to come out on the market again. I Purchased the EC-1000 Evertune two years ago but I regretted it and sold it. It was too heavy at the back and made it difficult to sit and record.

Yeah, I looked for them too and found Strandberg-Boden. So part of the Boden line?
I think they're beautiful. These pics don't show that they're also headless with Floyd Rose fittings.
Stunning. Now I want one. Right after I get a Parker Fly.
Cheers

The oddest thing about having a Parker. Love the tone, worship the neck. drool over the body. Collects dust except for special occasions.
There is something magical about it and yet.... Something in it's character doesn't lead me to playing it aside from those occasions when I'm feeling smooth jazz / fusion / progressive.

But isn't that why we have guitar arsenals in the first place? One for metal, one for jazz, one for blues, etc.tapper mike wrote:The oddest thing about having a Parker. Love the tone, worship the neck. drool over the body. Collects dust except for special occasions.

I don't think an all in one will ever be an all in one, even for a specific genre. Sure I get a lot of mileage out of the jazz boxes I already own. But I'm always looking or thinking about more.
Mostly... I hate Epi's sorry Joe Pass. Though this one (no clue as to the model) is great
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq5FXBwgKpE
Conti Imperials (think he had new models out now) Are the bomb for a 17 inch thin hollow body (no it's not a semi)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq5FXBwgKpE
For that classic Barney Kessel tone with out the issues of having a 60 yr old Kay the new(er) Eastwood Airline Tuxedo's have that punch nostalgic jump jive tone that also goes well with classic soul
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjwyjIXUoO8
For that uptown George Benson sound (no not the ibby that bares his name)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UUO_U3IcivE
For something a little tighter in a semi design then it would be a D'angelico EX-SS

Come on, you know you'll just get it and be pissed because of something like the nut glue is too hard and causes an early reflection echo off the B string.
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer
