As usual, there are many articles this time around. Here is just a sample of the many reviews we have for this issue: Predator 2, Rapid, Strumming Acoustic 2, Fab Filter's Pro-R, and UVI's World Suite. You may also want to check out the "Recording a Band Live on a Budget" article.

Also, there's a free version of the DDMf IIEQ Pro plugin to download:

Thanks. Always a good read :-)

Thanks.

Nice freebie too, the CM version from a few years ago is pretty much my goto EQ, sounds great.

Post

Is it different from the CM version?

EDIT: No analyser available in the CM version, and number of filter types is higher (28 vs 20).

Not sure what the CM version has, but this version has 6 bands, and the full version has 27. Also the full version has a Mid/Side option, it is re-sizable, and it has an option so you can edit all instances from a single window comparing the frequency curve between two instances.

Cool, sounds a definite step up from the CM edition. Thanks again.

Shouldn't this be on the effects section?

On virustotal.com the detection quote is 1 / 54, so clamAV and google are probably reporting false positive here.

Yes I have the same results here when I tried that, and a separate scan with Avast found nothing.

Will ask developer regarding virus message, but so far, I installed it without problem, ditto for downloading from our site.

Bitdefender Total Security also flagged it here. Probably a false positive but it's not something I need to mess with since I already own an older version of IIEQ. Just posting as a public service.

Here on Windows 10 system the bottom and right side panels are not visible, like they were cut away. I can stretch the plugin window but that will only reveal an empty background. No use when you cannot see what the buttons are or press them. Oh well...

I installed it on my laptop today which has Windows 10 and it seems ok here.
