Can LCXL access Ableton's Master track?

I bought a Novation LCXL last year but am only just now finally getting it set up properly. I'm not sure it's possible to access the master track, for manipulating devices there. Is this possible? If so how can it be done?

Just in case anyone else has this question in the future, the official answer from Novation is that it is not possible to select the Ableton master track from LCXL, you must use the mouse to do that.
