I just upgraded to Push2 ... really liking it. I was recording the Sub37 into Live using Push the other day. Works great. There's a new Max device that lets you map the encoders on Push to any parameter on your hardware using a macro (like a rack).

The QWERTY keyboard slides under the 23" Viewsonic 10-touch monitor monitor. The monitor is angled up at about 15 degrees and can slide back or forward. Xotopad is the main midi keyboard and controller.

The other two vertical monitors are currently non-touch. One is 28" the other is 19". The two top monitors swing back and forward up to 16”.

Below the desk top is the Huion stylus pen with pad (not visible) which can slide in and out. The second qwerty is on the left just in case I do not have access to the main qwerty.

On the left is the Shuttle Pro an the Presonus Firebox. On the right is the iPad Air connect to the PC with the iConnectMIDI2+ sitting on the shelf behind the monitor.

Under the desk is the Event subwoofer. Also two 20/20 Event speakers on the shelf.
The Advent and Infinity (stacked) HiFi speakers are in the back wall connected to the Marantz 2230.

That is how a studio is supposed to look :borg:

I detest those studio interviews in Future Music et al, with artist showing off their all clean environment, with their grey sterile Macs, and the occasional Star Wars figure :bang:

+1! How do those guys work in a studio without cables running everywhere?

Velcro ties, hooks, custom cutouts.... lots of options.

Yikes. It drives me nutty enough to have a few cords for TV, DVD player and game system. Ugh.

Honestly though, I get irritated with just one cord for a computer or some such.

That's how I feel too. Its not always easy routing wires, but I love a clean setup.

Well, I know that!
I was joking but in seriousness, I just don't care enough. I know some find it difficult to work in a messy space. I'm not one of those.

I guess I feel more comfortable in a studio like DTs. That is of course unless he has an Xbox. If you're gonna have a game system in your studio it better be a Playstation.

Haha... and I have an Xbox. Figures.

No worries I was joking too (but I do hate exposed rats nest wires and I do have an Xbox)

Aside from gear porn, this thread is lovely to see how differently we approach working.

I could never do a mobly type sterile environment. No SW figures (in the studio) but I do keep a DIY Munny and a couple other kid robots vinyls around just to keep it interesting.
