This is really what I bought Keyscape for, I always knew its real potential was as an addon for Omnisphere.

Thanks for the video. I think you and I both had made a similar comment on VI-C, or maybe it was just me. It seems that EP took omnisphere is too pretty to heart and in both omnisphere 2 and this, deliberately went the other direction and made a lot of distorted/harsher/grittier sounds.
Was this your experience with this library?

Weeellll.... I don't quite know about that. It seems well balanced, overall - maybe the patches I showcased were too skewed towards the aggressive, but there's a lot of pretty there too, still. I think there are tools in Omni 2 that allow for more grit - Keyscape itself has a lot of grit too. Hey, it's the Star Wars synth - the darkness and the light.zvenx wrote:Thanks for the video. Certainly no lack of gritty, overdriven sounds. In fact the whole library seems like a cheat to producing your own version of Nine Inch Nails Ghosts! As I was going through the patches I felt like that Album was playing itself.

Now i gone trough about half of the patches and they are really sound design at it's best.
1200 of these patches would cost me several 100's somewhere and i never could create such a wide range myself too.
So a great gift from Spectrasonics and a reminder why their tools are worth every penny.
I was hoping for some multis....but of course i can't complain...no problem to set up a few with a bunch of these wonderful patches.
I have collected some sample libraries but for Keys there is nothing like it for me.
Especially the Wing Tack Pianos, Mini Pianos, Belltone Pianos, Wind Keyboard and a few other rare instruments are awesome. Then you can go wild within Omnisphere 2.
If they would sample some solo strings the same way and some unique pipe organs i would be pleased forever .....maybe.

I would (and did) take The Unfinished bundle over SoundguruFleer wrote:Now with Omnisphere 2, Keyscape Creative and PlugInGuru's MegaMagic, I'm all set.

+1 to that. The Unfinished is, imo, the finest third party sound designer out there. Sadly I failed to convince Matt B to get in early on the Keyscape thing, but his Omni patches are outstanding - I have them all, getting towards 2,000 of them I think. They also broadly follow the Spectrasonics tagging. PluginGuru has some good patches, but his naming and tagging convention is off on another planet - took me nearly an entire day to sort out the last (and I do mean the last) one I bought from him. A real shame - his Toxic bank was stellar, but he's said he's not going to change his conventions so that's that.aMUSEd wrote:I would (and did) take The Unfinished bundle over SoundguruFleer wrote:Now with Omnisphere 2, Keyscape Creative and PlugInGuru's MegaMagic, I'm all set.
It's hard for 3rd party to compete with Keyscape Creative right now, but many months / years down the line, the voracious appetite for content will be back with even Keyscape and Omni 2 owners, no doubt.

will keyscape creative work with the keyscapes lite installation? given my computer specs i think i would go with the 30 gb lite installation if i buy keyscapes (also not being a professional keyboard player and more interested in the creative side of things).
thanks and cheers
