Raspberry Pi I/O Card Info?

Hi,

Is there any information available about the Raspberry Pi audio I/O card that was mentioned in one of the videos from NAMM?

I'm volunteering at at local non-profit LP-FM radio station and we're about to expand to having a remote studio plus broadcasting local live music from various venues. One thing we need to do is get the remote audio back to the main studio/transmitter and while there are commercial products available to do this they're all quite pricey. It seems like the RasPi with this I/O card could be much lower priced and make for a slick little audio capture and streaming box.

Questions I have right now:
- any idea when it will be available? (question of most concern of course)
- what kind of I/O connections will it have? RCA? 1/4" jacks? something else?
- will there be a bespoke case for it?
- will it require custom drivers/kernel modules?
