Is it possible? I'd like to make a synth based on looped samples but when I use the sfz sampler in Flowstone and try to incorporate it in a synth architecture the whole thing crash. I'm looking for a template project, if any Flowstone gurus out there have the time to make one, it would really help me!

Heya!
Do you want to multisample?
Here's a basic multisampler->
https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/6qq6p0
If you want to segment loops, and play back with counter-based pitching,
here's a pimped version of the old Exonerate sampler->
https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/hi0cv8
These schematics are for 3.0.8.1
Any questions, I'm happy to try answer
Hope helps

Do these romplers handle loop points without any clicking?nix808 wrote:Heya!

mmm-
they both will not read loop points.
With the Exonerate one, you can set loop points(not the standard)
yourself. Attack is adjustable, and mmm,
I just move the start/end points a tiny bit until it doesn't click.
A quick fade in/out could be added to both.
Sorry mate, they are not ROMplers yet, but show some sampling basics.
The first one(multisampler) needs your samples to be named in numeric order, like 1,2,3...

It's cool, I've made a rompler project in Flowstone using other FS projects gathered from the internet. It's a frankenstein rompler but it does have loop points capabilities and a few other neat features. I don't share it because it's build from other people's projects, even if there's a lot of my own work into it. It's not really stable though, especially with larger sample sets. You have to stay minimal, using small looping samples for instance. It works better that way.nix808 wrote:mmm-
