Is there away to make XT2 ignore the bpm info in a MIDI drum loop?

I have version 2.7, getting frustrated using Groove Monkee loops my E-MU PX7 drum kits in Dim Pro. Is there something in menu or a right-click or something like that I can use to change the tempo of the loop to whatever I want?

In sequencer toolbar there is a note symbol.
Click this to show the 'Tempo track'.
You should be able to 'overwrite' tempo information from MIDI by using this Tempo information you insert in the Tempo track.
Good luck!
