Hi,

I have lots of drum samples but get nowhere near to this kick drum:

Who can help?
Also the snare is not so bad.
Anyone recognizing what is used here?

It's a very weird sounding kick to me... Sound like it's gone thru a guitar amp and recorded back? I don't know to be very honest. One thing's for sure: it doesn't have a lot of low-end. I tried a guitar amp plugin from waves on a basic electronic kick drum and it kinda seems to work. Judge it yourself:

It is indeed I, Mr TheControlcentre, sir. That track is a demo for my signature soundset for u-he Diva.

Most of the drums in this track are from Wave Alchemy's Syncussion sample pack. But with lots of lovely plug-ins on top.

Hey Ari,

It's not a guitar amp, it's an entire chain of filthy plugs.

Sly Fi Kaya > Sly Fi Axis EQ > Sly Fi Deflector > FabFilter Saturn > Kush Omega N

All of them used reasonably subtly, but each increment adds up.

I used the stereo GTR Amp plugin (in combination with a couple of pedal effects from the GTR Stomp as well).
