I thought the instruments sounded a bit midi-ish, is that by design?
Not quite sure what to make of the tune, the melodies and composition is pretty good. Would love to hear this with tighter sounds, beats etc.

It's a catchy little tune for sure, and more upbeat than many of your tunes. Have you applied a LPF to the percussion? Adding a little more HF content might brighten the overall sound and bring the percussion forward in the mix.
