The 802 seems the best deal for the price, tons of connectivity.

Yup looks that way. Especially considering I don't want to change interfaces for at least 5-8 years if I can help it.rod_zero wrote:The 802 seems the best deal for the price, tons of connectivity.
The Babyface Pro is nice but just not enough i/o for my general sessions.
Going to price shop the 802 a bit and see if I can't find an open box or something.
Thanks for all the help!

Where are you finding those prices? Just curioustheEmbark wrote:[ Looking at the prices I am seeing for 1500-1600 I could get a 802 vs the UCX at 1300. Might be worth the extra couple hundred long term.
Thanks,
Kevin

Just a quick mention that RME just released a new interface that gets excellent reviews:

Update:
Actually I meant this one:
https://www.rme-audio.de/en/products/fi ... x-plus.php
... which is almost double your budget.

If you want to spend about that, and then spend about that in plugins you could always go UAD apollo.

Been using a MOTU 24IO/PCIe on PC for around nine years now.
24 ins - 24 outs.
Can't say anything about their support because TBH, I've yet to ever need it.
Works great and picked it up new during a sale with an additional discount.
