Yes I worked that out myself last year but it isn't mentioned in the manual and I still don't know where the factory presets are placed that appear in the dropdown menu. Ideally I would like to be able to access all presets that way, instead of having to use file/load which is slow.

Also the inconsistency between native and aupresets is annoying.

IMO the upgrade price from version 4 is a bit steep, especially if you dont need 64bit.
Amazon: why not use an alternative

Here it is. Two live-on-video experiments I made with the new Beta-version over the last week:

testing new "Diffuse" feature of Crusher-X 6 beta.

Playing here with some of the new features in Crusher-X 6:

-Diffuse grain processing (sort of reverb/difuser)
-New modulators

It was confirmed that the current version of Crusher-X doesn't work in Cubase. I'm wondering if this version will. Has anybody had a chance to test it yet or too soon?

Wow, that's great news. I'm really looking forward to it.

lots of improvements and (big) new features in 6.
watching Simon experiments (and mine) one could figure out a part of what's new.

Now this is still going to function as an FX insert, correct?

Post

you can mix dry signal with effected one as you like inside Crusher-X.
it also feedbacks inside if you want to.

No, what I meant was, this isn't a VST synth. I can't load it up like I load up something like The Legend and play it. I have to load up another synth and then insert Crusher X on that synth as an effect as I would say an EQ or compressor, correct?

i'm using it as fx.
*but you can pitch vapors by midi notes
