Hey :) I'm a little late to the game unfortunately since I only found out about OSC last week and I haven't had much time to work on something, but over the past couple of days I've been trying to come up with ideas for songs with this synth and I started working on something! Here is what I have so far, not sure if it is gonna get finished in time or what but I don't really care tbh :)

Besides always having to reset the Sync Mode for each track, this was really fun to work with. After my mixing desaster of last month, i am a lot more satisfied this time.

Hope you enjoy it.

Well. I'm done with this one. In addition to resetting the sync mode that always went to Mode 9. Patches would load differently at random, and automation would sometimes not be honored. Almost like automation would target a different instance? I got to the point where I wouldn't close the project. As soon as I would identify the problem and fix it, another instance would change. Anyway, enough moaning.

Here's my entry:

some really neat sound design in this track, I'm always curious about the tracks you submit in this contest :tu: I notice you changed to using reaper this time instead of abelton live, how do you think of reaper? Do you like this daw? :phones:

I'm usually on OS X, but had to use a PC for this one. I like Reaper pretty well but I wish you could use the Piano Roll without so much right-clicking. It seems weird. And yes, I know I could dive into the rabbit hole of settings, but that's a pain. For the price, you absolutely can't beat it, unless you want to go the Renoise route.

Just a quick note to all you guys that I gave up on this synth. It is too heavy on CPU load and I can't freeze tracks without a lot of pita this time as I need to shuffle tracks and patches around on the time line to make my track work.

Good luck to everyone in the challenge. I will listen to your music and will also vote.

Hi guys. This is track I made during the challenge:
https://soundcloud.com/krzysk124i/fcookiemess

19 instances of F-Cookie

Parametric EQ 2 x11
Fruity Reverb 2 x4
Grossbeat x1
Effectrix x1

Surprisingly stable plugin :D It was a pleasure to work with it.

Those plugins are commercial, and the rules say that you can only use free extern FXs for the track.
I think that there is a version of FL that comes with Grossbeat, in that case I think you could have used it (because it would have been an DAW FXs, and those are allowed), but just for volume automation, time-stretching pitch-shifting plugins are not allowed.

for more details see the rules here.
and if you have some questions you can ask here, the people will help you. :)

Well, last night I was listening into some of your songs and thought:"heck, let me have another look at this synth!"
...skipping over my sincere opinion about it, I just made a tiny little quicky for you, nothing special, but still I've managed to have some fun with it after all...
