I think rather than, or along with, using % for resizing, it would be
good to have size options that were about 10 pixels narrower than the most common screen widths. 1.5 is a little too wide for a standard 17" monitor at 1280x1028, which is a very common setting.
Being a band of pixels narrower than the screen
allows easier access to other apps behind the daw/instrument
screen. Thanks for having the January sale
Also, it looks like there is room for a larger preset selection
widget box, one that gets a lot of use.
Cheers

Two very good suggestions that I approve of.glokraw wrote:I think rather than, or along with, using % for resizing, it would be

The last couple of weeks I have been fiddling with with Discovery Pro and Corona, and although I like the sound of both, Corona sounds a bit more round and solid. I knew that they are quite different synths in regard to architecture, but still... Until it hit me. Discovery has only a delay FX module, while Corona has a delay,a chorus,a distortion and a limiter. I know you can always use an external chorus FX but internal FX units are much more convenient to use as their settings are stored along with the patch, and I don't see any reason not to include the same FX's from Corona to Discovery, as the code base is already there. Are there any plans to include at least a chorus to discovery?
Cheers
Edit: how stupid of me there is a chorus, a phaser and a limiter included...... I must be blind.....

two parts to a code base, the coder, and the code. If two apps
are coded by different people or teams, there may be unexpected hurdles
to integrating code, that are unseen by us lucky musicians. We're used
to having apps served up over-easy, on buttered toast, coders not so much.
A full fx suite would be a great D-Pro V7 update, z3ta has one that really
makes it easy to craft great sounds withoout a chain, and also comes
as an effects .dll, for general use, which is even more added value.
(drat, now I'm hungry for fried eggs on toast and a hot coffe!)
Cheers

But their twitter is still there with no sign of closing down, hopefully Discovery Pro 7 will have a chance to see the light.

i think there's no reason to worry, it is "Temporarily closed" not "Out of business".crystalmsc wrote:But their twitter is still there with no sign of closing down, hopefully Discovery Pro 7 will have a chance to see the light.
It would really surprising to see Discodsp quit this way , without a word.
IMO the best way to quit , would be to do the same thing Linplug have done (linplug is not out of business) , sell their plugin for a very low price and be clear on the fact it will not support anymore these plugins.

I think so. At least his customers. And at list, among his customers those who always encouraged him and always expressed their pleasure to play with his synths.hivkorn wrote:i think he would have advertise people here.michaelbrac wrote:His facebook page down too.
