Listening now, quite haunting TwoTonehuzz music.TwoToneshuzz wrote:Here comes another track, this time using the same setup as the previous track. Here I use 4 different versions of the Almost Cubism tweeked and added a sound from Resonata sound set to add som depth and perspective. Captured using Audio Hijack pro with various mastering tools,

Very delicate!TwoToneshuzz wrote:Another track using 4 instances of Kaleidoscope playing patches from set 20, these are driven by 4 instances of iZotope Iris using sounds from the Subscription series. I've used Numerology Pro 4 to arrange and mix this rather minimalist moody track.

This is my favorite from your latest series of tracks, sonic story telling...TwoToneshuzz wrote:So here is another piece using the same sound sources except I've replaced the Ultra Analog with Xfer Serum using a Free Style library sound.

Thanks for listening and commenting. I'm getting some clicks here and there, and have tracked down what the causes are. Mostly too many instances in a non multithreading host.
I've found out that I can automate some parameters in my host Numerology Pro 4, especially transposition of the the key and octave. I'm going to get better grip on making arrangements using just the Kaleidoscope in the coming weeks.
I have a lot to explore. Very relaxing activity too.

I noticed the clicks, automating root notes and octaves also produces clicks, using a declicker in real time sometimes works, better is to bounce the KS tracks and then remove the clicks either in your DAW or with an external app like RX or Wavelab.

I'm going to find a workflow. I think I'll be getting RX 5 editor in the near future as part of the setup. It's asking a lot to take care of the clicks in realtime the RX 5 or any other declick unit. I'm trying it out and it does help but not totally eliminate the worst clicks. Which is understandable.Sampleconstruct wrote:I noticed the clicks, automating root notes and octaves also produces clicks, using a declicker in real time sometimes works, better is to bounce the KS tracks and then remove the clicks either in your DAW or with an external app like RX or Wavelab.
Another workaround I'm trying out in numerology pro is to using gate driven envelopes to fade down the white noise control in Kaleidoscope and the whole track output just before I transpose octaves and keynote. I think if the levels are set right this not only hides the clicks but it reduces the number of clicks at the parameter changes. Just have to tweet levels balanced and perhaps use a delay unit to cover the drop in levels.

I tried some of the things I mentioned in the previous post to deal with the click issues.

Continuing my explorations of Simons patches for Kaleidoscope. I'm using his sounds for iZotope Iris as impuls to the Kaleidoscope as well as Kaleidoscopes own internal white noise generator. I have setup an elaborate set of sequencers envelopes generators an Lfo's to control some of key and octave and white noise levels (volume) as wells as add the dry unaffected sound from the Iris patches.

Another track using the same setup as before tho the internal White noise generator is doing most of the impuls work and the Iris sounds if there are all but drowned out.

Adding som Chromaphone Kardinals sounds some Falcon/Mach 5 Tribal drum sound to two Kaleidoscope and two Iris sounds crossfaded with each other or with Iris as the exciter of Kaleidoscope or Kaleidoscope driven by its own white noise generator. Mastered with Limitless and 2Caudios B2.
