Have this device ever been sampled into a Kontakt instrument?

It's the same AY-3-8912 chip as used by the ZX-Spectrum, MSX, and lots of other game consoles of that era. So yes, it's blips & beeps are probably already sampled to death.

Could an equivalent of the SID station be made based on it?
