Hi Everyone,

I am setting up a tablet for some basic sketch-type recording, and was wondering if someone could recommend a decent free Hammond organ VST for this purpose?

Thanks!

Post

I always liked the Nubi Plus/Spinner plugs, seperate plugins but sound great together.

32 bit only as far as I know.
Never tried the free organ from GSI but i own VB-3 since a long time which many people still see as the best Hammond Organ VST instrument. AAFIK it's fully emulated without using samples.

VB-3 is avaialble for 50 € so not very expensive and also available as a 64-bit VST2 for Windows.

Cool, thanks, never heard of it before (Nubi).

Is there a user manual?

+1

50 clams is well worth it for one of my few "must have" commercial plugs

Cab be downloaded as part of a bundle from the same developer, Istvan Kaldor.

@9:10 in the video he compares the actual physical Hammond A100 to the Crumar Mojo (VB3 engine)

The crumar mojo uses the GSI VB3 to power it.

You can download the Organ3 installer from that link but you'll need a serial number to activate it, and to get one of those you'll need to buy it.

The share-it link is still active here:

Can't say if it still works but based on previous experience it probably will.

Thank you everyone!
