Sonar - transport controls not working in Akai MPK249

Hello all,
Very frustrated about the lack of ability to find any useful info online...

Basically, i managed to get the encoders and sliders to work after configuring the MPK as an ACT surface control - but transport controls don't work...although i did change type to MIDI CC in the controller, as are both the faders and the encoders...

Any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried at the Cakewalk forums? If you can stomach all the back slapping and mutual admiration society stuff, you could probably get some good help. There is a dude there by the name of azslow3 who has written his own little app for control surfaces and the like to work in SONAR, it seems to be popular with users and solves a few issues, he (or others) may well be able to help you out, just post a thread in the SONAR sub forum for the best chance of azslow3 to see it I guess

I think Sonar do transport controls with MMC protocol.
