More than expected. And more than i can afford.
Well, on a serious note. I'd guess 200-300 €. It's fine, it's a nice hobby after all. I'll surely get Reaktor this year, when NI have one of their expected 50% off sales. The other stuff, i really don't know. Maybe nothing more even, i'm really fine with my latest arsenal.

No budget as such. I'll buy something if I feel I need it, rather than because I can afford it. I've spent less than $200 on soft synths so far this year (picked up LuSH-101 and Repro-1 in sales). There's nothing on my 'wish list' atm.

Plug-ins makes me happy, so i pay whatever i can afford if i see/hear something i want.
I also feel good to support some of my favorite developers.
I go to work nearly every day and playing with my plug-ins is also a kind of holiday for my mind.
It´s worth everything i have
But i hope it will be under 2 grands this year

Ha, it´s just because i already spend a bunch on some more expensive tools this year and not sure what we will see.egbert101 wrote:Wow, under 2 grand. Again, it's worth it if it's your hobby, and compare it to other people with their expensive hobbies and it's not such a problem. But yeah, definitely sounds like you got some Gear Acquisition Syndrome.Cinebient wrote:Plug-ins makes me happy, so i pay whatever i can afford if i see/hear something i want.

But i only want Reaktor 6 now and maybe i can stop it for a while......but i thought that the year before and the year before that.
It´s an expensive hobby for me but i spend the same for other things and apps i don´t use anymore or can´t resell etc.
If you open the door of a new car, you already lost a few grands
I also doesn´t own really much compared to some others since i´m just a few years into it.
I hope it will slow down since saturation begins and i don´t think i need much more tools.
I prefer now to upgrade my tools and sometimes buy a new one if i really think i need that and it´s unique.
