+1 Tx16wx
Reaper for that matter. It even comes with some other neat stuff.

Hm, then I guess IJ could use Dr octorex with rewire then as well.Scrubbing Monkeys wrote:+1 Tx16wx

I'll have to check that TX16Wx thing again...

Spectrasonics Stylus RMX is the king in this respect. The rex2 files have to be first converted by using the S.A.G.E. converter. If you are super serious about using rex files in the vst world, nothing beats Stylus RMX.

Geist 2. And I second the recommendation for both that and Stylus RMX. All of my REX files have been imported into both and they give me tons of possibilities.sfd wrote:Geist by FXpansion? Geist has kind of a crappy learning curve, but when you're past that, it's wonderful, IMO

Stylus RMX seems nice. But it's kinda old isn't it?
And...expensive.
Well, I didn't said anything about prices.
So what we've , this far, is:
* UVI Workstation
* Geist 2
* TX16Wx
* Battery
* Stylus RMX
Reaper was also mentioned. But that's a DAW not a VST plug-in.

I get what you're saying, but it works perfectly for what it was made to do. Worth every penny. I wish there were a demo for you to try out and you'd see what I'm saying. I, at first, thought I wasted my money, but realized how awesome Stylus is after I actually got into using it. I just don't like using any DAW to pitch shift drum loops. That's why, to me, Stylus is indispensable for this application.sfd wrote:Stylus RMX seems nice. But it's kinda old isn't it?

Tried with TX16Wx.PTV wrote:TX16Wx
I opened the file browser. Found a rx2 file. Double clicked it. NO sound.
I tired with various REX files. NO sound.
Even worse. I tried with all kinds of formats. The only thing that I could get some sound from where sf2 files.
But Wav and REX files delivers zero sound
