they've been giving it away or selling it for a buck for longer than anyone here can remember, and there are exactly as many threads on the subject as you would imagine there are under these circumstances.

Something tells me he won't be asking any follow-up questions on this.

That said, Xpand! 2 is okay as a standard ROMpler. I'm glad I got it for a buck, but I probably would have been upset had I paid much more.

Well I don't know what got Bunja booted out but I like XPand2. The secret is in the layers.

True. You can do quite a bit layering it.

Poor guy. He wanted to get banned, not suspended.

Xpand! 2 is easily worth 10x what I paid for it! :D

But seriously, this thing has a lot of go to sounds in it if you need to quickly sketch something out. It is a good sounding Rompler for real instrument sounds. It layers well and you can put multiple instances of this plugin in your project if you need more than 4 tracks of MIDI. It is fairly light on resources and loads quick.

+1 :tu:
Windows 10 and too many plugins

Thanks for these :tu:

Believe it or not, it sounds better than some synths I own that I paid a lot more for.

Definitely worth the dollar.

I haven't really been using it, but not because it's not bad...it just isn't at the top of my list when I need a sound versus "everything else" (DAW built-ins etc.), and the DRM adds a bit of friction to exploring it more. For every instrument in it, there is probably a dedicated plugin or Kontakt library that is larger size and better sound quality, but that really isn't the focus. As a replacement for a hardware rompler, it's very competitive, and the price is unbeatable. You'd have to really be into getting the exact sounds and features of a specific keyboard or module to think otherwise.

i got it for free and i uninstalled it , when you have things like bitword wavefront and expanse it sounds boring next to it and the piano sounds are not gonna be better than my xln audio upright so got rid of it i'll swap it if i can if anyone wants it can you do that with ilok 2 quid anyone lol , anyway im back :-) maybe i'll stay forever
