Yes, that is how it works now. Please see the changes list. Page left/right now navigates through the sequencer pages.
Aha! I was looking at the manual page (https://github.com/git-moss/DrivenByMos ... ush-I-&-II) which still states Page Left and Right under Edit mode > Devices. Might need an update there. Thanks for the pointer. So I guess pressing several times has the same effect as a long press? I've always thought long presses are cumbersome, are there no other sensible free buttons that could be used for navigation?

This problem doesn't consist for me, the pads are fine now. If it happens again I will try to reproduce and send you a proper bug report.
moss wrote:Yes, I can reproduce that. Will fix.
Cool, thanks!

Hi Moss,

Any chance of the ability to edit midi notes length, velocity and microtiming in the 2.0 near future?

I asked this awhile back but it's such a huge deal to me for making acid basslines and such that it's keeping me from switching to Bitwig fully.

Great job BTW, it blows my mind that one guy has been able to so much with a controller script, I just need that one little feature. :D

There is a first sketch about an API improvement which would make these things possible. It shouldnt be that far in the future but I have no idea how it really fits in Bitwigs release planning.

Thanks for the response and info Moss! Looking forward to it's eventual implementation.

Hey, is it possible for Push to display the length and current playing position for the currently playing clip on each channel? Would it also work for groups?

Sorry, that is currently not possible.

I m not sure if i am doing something wrong but pretty much all buttons stay dark. push2display is working otherwise, the display is working and buttons will only light up and reveal their text when pushed and activated.
any idea what could be causing this? i am flying blind here.
functionality is there and everything seems to be working as it should be, just the button text isnt.

edit: i found something via google that sounded similar to my issue but without resolution. inverted button state?

Can't wait! I think this is the final issue stopping me from using my Push as much as I should... I rarely write sequences with a single note length and it's currently a bit of a pain in the arse trying to seamlessly enter 32nds, 16ths, 8ths etc as you go. Especially as (as far as I can tell) there's no way to enter a syncopated 8th note (e.g. an 8th note but starting on for example the 3rd 16th division of a bar).

Would it be possible to add a faster way to navigate 'views' of clips by the way, rather than using the left/right buttons? Something like shift + top row buttons (the ones that are currently used to set the length of the clip)? I assume this has already been discussed and there's a reason it's not plausible...

Cheers as always moss.

Sorry - silly question, but for the life of me can't figure it out. Using Push 1 and recording drum sequences with the drum pad. Can seem to record anything like triplets - seems like I can't force it off quantize and 1/16. Hope this makes sense.

Update day!

Get it from: http://mossgrabers.de/Software/Bitwig/Bitwig.html

# 9.10
  • New: When in Session view and press Session again a menu turns up (like in note view) where you can select different views. The normal Sesson view, the flipped version and a new Scene view. This view displays the first 64 scenes ready for jamming. The color of a scene uses the color of the first clip found in the scene (only checks in the first 8 tracks). Use the Layout button on Push 2 to quickly step through these views.
  • New: Changed the layout of the Drum 64 view to match the normal Drum view.
  • New: The Fixed Length menu contains a new row with options which allows to create a new clip without storing the length.
  • New: Added more function options to the Footswitch 2.
  • New: You can use the Delete button in combination with a pad in Play mode. But note that this can be dangerous since the notes you see might not come from the currently selected clip!
  • New: If Browse is pressed and no device is currently selected, add device is called.
  • New: The Duplicate button (with no other button pressed) now always duplicates the first selected clip on the current track.
  • Fixed: When using the "use parent color" color the pads were not colored at all in session mode.
  • Fixed: Aftertouch was not working in Piano mode.
  • Fixed: Mastermode was not activated when Master volume knob was touched
  • Fixed: Holding Record and selecting a track could only arm 1 track. After that the record button had to be released and pressed again.
  • Fixed: 64 Drum mode: Sounds did not play when octave was transposed.
