Pretty good for beginners IMO. I think they were designed as an acoustic for electric guitarists so they're comparatively easy to play.

The only downside is that the acoustic tone is not the best and they're not the loudest of acoustics but that can be a good point when learning :)

i can't get it in my country so i bought it from ebay.
I've seen some studios they have synths at 20k $ and their monitors are yamaha hs series.
I think I'm quite satisfied.

Time to shock the world:

The key here is a bound neck. 19/17 mm is pretty thin so I don't want one w/o that. Purdy. But it doesn't really do anything that my beloved 1520 can't do. But I have a feeling it's one of "those" Ibanez that will be highly sought after.

The only thing about that is it has fusion edge pups which I don't know if I'd like. I'll have to bug Rich about and see what he thinks.

Not quite sure about the rosewood fretboard. Love the Ebony one.

As much as I love maple fretboards (and trust me I've had the guitars to prove it) There is something about Ebony or rich lite or carbon fiber that adds the finishing touch. A solid fretboard that doesn't show wear through the years with a slightly brighter tone.

Love my ebony on my Carvin.

Speaking of that, I talked to Rich at Ibanez Rules and he said that these models bound necks don't add any strength to the neck. That 17/19mm profile is really just a hair too thin so, lovely eye candy I don't think I should buy.

Of course Carvin does this now:

Yeah, it's fickle me, sue me
