Hi guys,
this must be possible, but I do not see it. Now every DAW, I use Studio One, lets you draw automation lanes for whatever supported parameter of a vst plugin.
Now I'd like to have an LFO/envelope plugin capable of automating other vsts patameters.
Any dedicated lfo plugins existing? How can I do this? I mean the concept sounds very basic...
I know it is possible with Ableton+max4life lfo.
Ideas pls
Michael

Ugh, sooo difficult. It's already difficult with midishaper, due to the nature of MIDI cc... thanks, will have a look at it. I was hoping for some easier solutions. LFO control other VSTs with LFOs as maybe the ones in Serum...
But still this basic thing is so hard to do.
What I am aiming for is subtile random variations. So random LFOs would be nice. Midishaper is only semirandom, because you define it beforehand.

Yeah, unfortunately it isn't no brainer simple . You're probably better off using automation or a particular host that can do it natively such as Bitwig, Reason or Rax n Trax (which is a host and a Vst plugin, by the same guy that makes Qurv)

Oldie but goldie topic; meanwhile I am still thinking, DAW could offer easy-to-use autogen automation (with sweet lfo's of all known shapes and timing). What I ended up to add slight variations was using Serum FX. Still haven't looked into LFO Tool vs. midi cc. Midi cc things confuse me and I am not 100% familiar with it in Studio One.

as was mentioned above MUX is the easiest, or using AL,Bitwig which ones can do it easily
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS33Qob ... e=youtu.be
simply should drop a MUX container into an other one and modulate the macros of the inner from the outer (and build a nice frontend in it), done ...
(MUX first part is here > viewtopic.php?f=7&t=487801&start=90#p6830344 )

it is also possible inside Bitwig which has many modulators build in and is easy to assign, similar to M4L in Live but native.

ok than the second half of the question of the OP, let's draw envelopes (MIDI note triggered ones)

feel myself as a paid ad/banner so stopping MUX promotion here, but it's really good especially with Cubase which hasn't got too much modulation feature ...

The lord has heard all my prayers about automatic modulation - IF ONLY STUDIO ONE WAS BITWIG.
In Bitwig it is called modulators and is exactly, what I always wanted. And what is so hard/impossible to achieve in Studio One.

100% awesomeness. I NEDDZDZZ DIS IN STOODIE!1111
