Spacey space station presets from set 21 for spacey space music - displaying some presets from subscription set 21 - some GRM Evolution was used to process the KS output, performed live on video. Two external noise sources were used to excite the resonators in KS, B2 (Evolution) and Reverbical (Kaleidoscope) for reverberation.

Kaleidoscope Subscription Set 21, uploaded on Apil 20th - 2017 containing:

Complex rhythmical sequences - triplet based and in 5/8 time signature - meet slow tempo-synced dynamic patterns, bizarre fractal images of abstract space objects create full soundtracks, microtonal tuning files combined with “molecular“ images explore the boundaries of tonality, enchanting new age textures, haunting spectral apparitions, cinematic drones, “sun phasers“ (also try these on acoustic instruments like guitar as demonstrated in one of the videos) - this and more can be found in subscription set 21.

The subscription library currently contains: 1477 presets - 759 images - 106 tuning files - 127 waveforms.

Here comes the release info for Kaleidoscope subscription set no. 22:

Extracting complex tuning files from electronic textures and a field recording of a Chinese violin player I made in Shanghai some years ago, re-synthesizing images in Serum and extracting single cycle waveforms from the resulting wavetables, creating harmonic tuning files from the top of my head, creating plenty of cosmic and abstract images with ArtMatic, Fractal Designer and Photoshop and also making excerpts from two of my mother’s works (the visual artist Mary Bauermeister -> https://www.marybauermeister.org). Drawing rhythmical sequences and patterns in Pages, creating odd and even time signatures, all of that can be found in subscription set no. 22, those assets are used in 73 presets, encompassing a wide variety of consonant and dissonant textures, rhythms and otherworldly sounds.

Two Kaleidoscope presets (drone and texture) from the upcoming set no. 23 in ambient action, input sources were various field recordings of rain and thunder which I recorded recently. B2 and Relayer provide the space, the transposed drone in the middle of the track also has some distortion applied (Decapitator).
