ha! said the same thing myself just a few hours ago when i was looking through a list of Bram's plug-ins.

i always thought it was some sort of KVR in-joke.

Yes. I've made a track with it (albeit with the aid of a sampler).

It sounds pretty terrible and it's a b*gger to use. Annoyance at the aliasing/digital hash builds up really quickly once you try to make chords or any kind of polyphony with it. And it doesn't process MIDI notes – you have to set the output frequency by hand. Other than that, it's great.

I would use one ping only... because of the extra parameters, but use it with TALE Reaper "polymono midi filter" to get a pulsar poly oscillator, which I would then feed through my favorite FX. Just my opinion.
